Would you like to Create an All-Edible pup cup?

We've all done this before: We pull up to a coffee bar, get our drink of choice, and then ask for a "pup-cup" for our favorite furry baby-poo. They lick up the last little bit of whipped cream, and then you're stuck with that little plastic cup—one more piece of plastic waste to add to the landfill.

Great for when you're on a road trip.

But, what if you're at home? With kids. And dogs. Why not get creative? It's fun for the whole family. Win-Win!😉

"Who's fluffy, furry, slobbery pup doesn't like a good pup-cup?" Right! What if... what if, you can make a homemade all-edible pup cup? That's right. "Your doggie can eat the whole dang thing?"

Well, we have a few DIY homemade recipes that say you CAN! 😋

You are now ready to fill your Japanese sweet potato cavity. Sprinkle with organic carob to top it off. I didn't use my homemade Organic Coconut whipped cream because the yogurt acts as the white topping.

"I gave a slice to my dog—I don’t even think he chewed it! LOL. It’s so ultra-soft (like a slice of cake), so I wasn’t worried."

Cucumber Pup-Cup Sundae

Ingredients

  • 1 - Cucumber, washed and padded dry
  • 1 - Banana, mashed
  • 1/2 cups of Plain Greek Yogurt
  • 1 T of your melted carob mixture, for drizzling.

Instructions

Wash your cucumber thoroughly. Pat dry. Cut a 1/4 piece of the cucumber then cut the bottom slightly to set in place. Begin to core out the inner flesh of the cucumber until it is hallowed out.

Re-melt your carob mixture in the microwave for 20-30 seconds. Make sure to stir in between. Once melted, set aside.

Mash the banana, then add Greek Yogurt. You can hand mix or use a mixing tool for a smoother look. Once you are finished mixing, scoop the mixture into the cucumber. I added some Greek yogurt on top, to replace whipped coconut cream. Drizzle with your melted carob. Enjoy!

What should you do with the leftovers?

I had some mix from each pup cup, left over. You can save it to put in different edible cups or place it in a set of paw & bone silicone molds for easy freezing. "Look how cute they turned out." —Instagram shot!!

I hope you enjoyed making these for your dog babies. Do you have a creative edible pup cup idea? What would you use?
